Dolphin Eco Tour
Orange Beach, AlL Dolphin Watching Cruise
Join us for an educational Dolphin Eco Tour aboard The Explorer! This tour is 1.5 hours of pure fun! While searching for dolphins, we will navigate the back bays of Orange Beach’s Intracoastal Waterway. In addition to finding and educating you on our resident dolphin pods, kids become Junior Co-Captains and assist Captain with driving the boat! Between 50 and 70 dolphins reside together in our bay, and by paying close attention to them over the years, we have named many of them. We know them by their unique dorsal fins and will introduce you to our water-loving friends when you cruise with us aboard the Explorer We are focused solely on dolphins, so there is no nature component on this cruise.
The Explorer is equipped with a full-service cocktail bar and restroom.
The Explorer allows us to get as close as safely possible to the banks and the local marine and wildlife. Because the boat only needs 16 to 18 inches of water underneath, we can sneak into creeks and swamps where few other boats can go, providing you with a truly unique and memorable experience.
Perfect for families or those just wanting a Dolphin-specific cruise in Orange Beach. Our expert guides can identify many of the resident dolphins and share fun facts about their behaviors, their habitat, and their relationships within the pod.
Interested in a dolphin and nature tour? Our two-hour dolphin and nature cruise combines all the features of this dolphin cruise with extra floating time through the hidden creeks of the back bays. We spend the entire time locating and observing our local dolphin pod, and other wildlife. During this cruise, we will also explore hidden estuaries. Our knowledgeable tour guides and captain will point out the local flora and fauna. You may see osprey and their nests, herons, bald eagles, red-tailed hawks and other wildlife.
