Private Sailing Cruises

What better way to commemorate a marriage or other special event than at sail! Private Charters are available for groups of up to 40 guests. Whether you’re planning a church outing, family reunion or company function, charters are an affordable way to enjoy time with friends, family, and co-workers while sailing the waters in and around Orange Beach, Alabama. Our sailboat is the only sailing vessel that offers a full service cocktail bar onboard in Orange Beach, Alabama.

Have you ever experienced a sailing adventure aboard a two-hull sailboat? Two hulls provide stability for a smooth ride without leaning to one side. Come to enjoy a two-hour sail at sunset aboard the Cetacean, a 52-foot Hawaiian catamaran. With the wind in our sails, the Cetacean skims along the waters of Orange Beach, Alabama and Perdido Key, Florida.

While out sailing, you’ll see coastal wildlife and marine life all around. Take in the sights and sounds as pelicans and cormorants dive into the water; bald eagles, egrets, seagulls, herons, and osprey fly nearby; schools of baitfish surround the sailboat, and our resident pod of dolphins plays in our bow wake.

Catering Aboard the Cetacean

Optional: you can have your private cruise catered. We work closely with the Wharf Catering Group, and can provide the contact information for you to set up your menu. This is a separate business/ service, and it is your responsibility to contact them for pricing and setup. If you do not wish to use this group, you are welcome to bring your own food onboard.

Outside alcohol conflicts with our ABC liquor license, and is therefore not permitted. We have a full-service cocktail bar [separate purchase using cash or card] on board.

Customers must be prepared to show a physical, valid form of ID when ordering alcoholic beverages. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and consume alcoholic beverages. Expired IDs are NOT valid. Valid forms of ID include:

  • Non-expired, valid driver’s license
  • Valid U.S. Uniformed Service Identification [Military ID]
  • Valid passport
  • Valid Alabama non-drivers ID issued by Dept. of Public Safety
